TULIP’s having a Giving Thanks Party on November 12th at 6:00-7:00 PM. It will be held at 106 5th Ave SE (Precious Metalsmith), Olympia, WA. We are writing to let you know a new fee schedule is taking effect June 15, 2009.

Tulip has continually worked to keep fees as low as possible. Frequently, this has meant we have lost money when we provide a service like issuing a cashier’s check or mailing printed account statements. The current state of the economy means that times are tough for everyone, including Tulip. We can no longer afford to offer as many of our services at a loss.



Tulip has updated hours of operation. Tulip branch will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning May 15, 2009. Hours of operation subject to change. Watch for updated postings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our membership.


TULIP is going through a conversion. Beginning March 4, 2009, Tulip will be changing cardholder providers! You should be receiving new ATM cards and pin numbers along with new visa/debit pin numbers in the mail beginning February 26th. There will be no reissuing of visa/debit cards, only pin numbers. Please follow the instructions on the pin change form to update your account/card. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause our membership, along with the late notice. Tulip Coop CU will be holding three Financial Education Classes on October 7th, October 21st and October 28th in the Evergreen Vista Apartments, 1209 Fern St., Olympia, WA 98502. Thank you for Celebrating Tulip’s 4 Years! I would like to thank all of the members, potential new members, staff and board that came out Saturday, December 15th to make our 4th year anniversary a success. It is you that keeps us going and enables us to continue on with our mission in the community. I would also like to extend a very special “Thank You” to The Eastside Food Coop, Old School Pizzeria, Applebee’s, Caffé Vita and Harlequin Theater for items that were donated for the raffle. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year and on our next anniversary celebration.
