Welcome to the online home of Tulip Cooperative Credit Union! Our mission is to inspire partnership, which reduces poverty by moving low-income people from debt to asset building through education, services and access to capital at fair rates. We balance what’s right for the member with what’s sustainable for the credit union to help the community for generations to come. Tulip links low-income members with the financial products, services, and education necessary for financial independence. At the same time, it offers more affluent members the opportunity for community investment through the loans and deposits they make with Tulip. Credit Union members benefit from highly personalized service with the knowledge that their patronage is a direct contribution to the community.

Joining Tulip Cooperative Credit Union is simple. You must simply meet either of these requirements:
- Residents of Thurston County who are designated as low-income
- Members of Olympia Food Coop (regardless of income or residence)

Dear Member:
We are writing to let you know a new fee schedule is taking effect June 15, 2009.
Tulip has continually worked to keep fees as low as possible. Frequently, this has meant we have lost money when we provide a service like issuing a cashier’s check or mailing printed account statements. The current state of the economy means that times are tough for everyone, including Tulip. We can no longer afford to offer as many of our services at a loss.
